Danebury Ring Hillfort, Hampshire

Danebury Ring hillfort is a large sub-circular multivallate Iron Age enclosure of approx. 13.5 acres (5.5 hectares). Associated with nearby field systems. Extensively excavated by Barry Cunliffe over a number of seasons – the digital archive of which can be found in the Danebury Excavations Digital Archive, oddly enough.
